Learn to Play
Our Learn to Play hockey program is designed for kids who already know how to skate well enough to make it up and down the ice without holding onto anything. Typically, two to three sessions of skating classes are advised.
Ages
Most kids enter this program at ages 5 to 8. We do allow 4-year-olds and kids as old as 12.
When
We offer session in the fall (Oct. to Dec), winter (Jan. to March), spring (April to May) and summer (June-July). Sessions are one hour, once a week.
Where
All sessions are at the Aurora Rec-Plex, South Building.
Jerseys
You get a free Chicago Panthers jersey at check-in at the start of each session.
Fall 2023
Learn-to-Play will take place on following Saturday mornings throughout the fall.
10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15
Cost: $120
IMPORTANT
When registering you will be asked to choose between Learn-to-Play 1 and Learn-to-Play 2. If this is your son or daughter's first hockey experience you should choose LTP1. LTP2 is for kids who have either already completed LTP1 or have comparable experience such as private lessons, have gone to many stick & puck sessions or has roller hockey experience.
