Spring Tournament Teams

This program is a low-cost quick spring program for higher level club players who would like to participate in a spring tournament. Tryouts will be held to select 13 skaters and one goalie. Plan is to put major year teams in AA tournaments and minor year teams in A tournaments.

Ages

For players who will be Squirt, Peewee or Bantam in the fall season. Players from all clubs are eligible to participate.

When

Program runs in April through June.

Where

Practices will be held at the RecPlex or Greenwood Ice Arena. Tournament will be local.

Practices

Each player will receive 5 practices. That will be broken down to 2 team practices and 3 position specific practices. Goaltenders will attend the forwards practice.

Games

Teams will participate in one in-town tournament.

Jerseys

Reversible jersey will be provided for tournament.

Additional Costs

No additional costs. Fee for players selected will cover all costs including the tournament fee.

Spring 2024


Evaluations will be held the first week of April.   Exact practice schedule be released prior to the start of tryouts.   With the light practice schedule, this program is designed to work for players who are participating in other spring programs or other spring sports.

Refunds will not be given if you cannot participate in the tournament, so please plan accordingly.

Program Cost
Covers 5 practices with Coach Smalls and two tournament fees.
